The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program provides healthy foods for women who are pregnant or were recently pregnant, breastfeeding women, infants and children until their 5th birthday.  WIC also offers nutrition education and breastfeeding support services.

WIC Facts:

Who is Eligible for WIC?

  • Pregnant and breastfeeding women up to 12 months
  • Women who were pregnant the past 6 months (including Non- Lactating and Pregnancy Loss)
  • Infants from birth to 12 months
  • Children who are 1 to 5 years

How do I enroll?

What do I Bring to my Appointment?

  • Proof of residency (Driver's license or Utility Bill, etc)
  • Proof of Identity (Driver's license or Birth Certificate or Crib Card, etc)
  • Proof of Income (Past 30 days Check Stubs or MI Medicaid or Bridge Card, etc)
  • Proof of Pregnancy (Ultrasound with Name or Note from Doctor or Medical Facility)
  • Person to be enrolled in WIC (Call us if unsure who needs to attend appointment) 

wicfreshProject Fresh –Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (FMNP)
Project Fresh provides WIC participants with coupons worth $30-60 to purchase fresh, locally grown produce at Farmers' Markets in Michigan. You will receive information on eligibility and how to get your coupons in June.
